Do you have great non profit experience or would you like to learn more about the field & business side of non profit work?
We are creating a Resource Development Committee. This is a group that will meet 4-6 times/year to discuss potential funding opportunities, create a development plan, evaluate the current financial needs of the organization and come up with creative solutions, and plan fundraising events. Projects will also be done by volunteers outside of the meetings, time committment individualized.
This is a great way to learn more about the funding and business side of non profit work, as well as to have hands on experience.
Start Date: Rolling
Time Commitment: Quarterly meetings (2-3 hours each), once every three months. Some outside work possible, on an as needed basis.
Experience with resource development or non profit management a plus, but not required.
Interested in volunteering?
Send Cover letter and resume to Meghan Freebeck, Director of Development, at MeghanF@sfsuicide.org.
Thanks for all of your support!
