San Francisco Suicide Prevention

The Nation's oldest (since 1963) volunteer-based suicide crisis line providing 24 hour telephone crisis counseling to anyone in crisis.

San Francisco Suicide Prevention also provides grief support groups to both survivors of suicide and attempt survivors, does school outreach and community trainings.

Mission Statement

The mission of San Francisco Suicide Prevention is to provide emotional support, assistance and intervention as necessary to persons in crisis and those impacted by them, without regard to race, age, gender, or sexual orientation.
