As a child, do you remember the kind face of the person who helped you learn how to write your alphabet or reviewed your multiplication tables with you using flash cards? If you do, then you also recall the great feeling of accomplishment on the day when it all seemed to make sense! Help give children (Pre-K through 5 th grade) that same feeling of accomplishment! The Boys & Girls Club of S. Lakeland - Mulberry is seeking kind, patient individuals who are willing to assist with enrichment, help with homework or practice in specific subject areas such as math and reading. Some students will also greatly benefit from being read to as well!! You only need to commit to subject areas / age groups with which you are comfortable. This is a great opportunity to give back to your community, make a difference in a child's education, their future and the future of Polk's future economic development. You'll feel great!!
Choose any day(s)Monday-Thursday between the hours of 2:45 p.m.-6:00 p.m. (approx).
