Did you know that many of Polk's households do not posess savings accounts? This can throw their finances into serious downward spirals whenever an unexpected loss of income or medical burden should arise.
Help empower Polk families to create a savings plan that will help them generate at least a $300 savings account. We will train you and provide you with computerized curriculum for helping others learn some basic money management skills. You do not have to be a banker or possess elaborate financial degrees - however if you are a banker/possess financial degrees - we welcome you as well! Money Coach volunteer applicants should demonstrate positive money practices in your own life and willingness to take training and help others as a volunteer Money Coach.
A great opportunity to educate those in the community with family budgeting and managing finances. Help individuals/families with ways to make good decisions with money-handling. Guide individuals to "face reality"; plan/budget/save and continuously manage money.
