Provide volunteer nursing services in accordance with the Red Cross mission to clients and the community. Provide nursing and health assessment, planning, community education, management, training, direct care and evaluation in alignment with unit-identified needs in multiple areas: e.g., Disaster Services, Preparedness, Health, and Safety Services (PHSS), Service to Armed Forces (SAF), Biomedical Services, and International Services
Key Requirements:
- Support of Red Cross Mission at the chapter (grass roots) level using health professional expertise
- Consistent and reliable performance as a healthcare professional
- Communication with Regional Nurse Leader and chapter contact regularly
- Participation in nursing network meetings and leader development

An emergency social services and community health education organization providing disaster relief, assistance to military families and veterans, health and safety training, non-emergency transportation to medical appointments, varied youth programs and international tracing. Serving communities and individuals of Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Ft Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Houston, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties.
