Greater Houston Area Chapter (American Red Cross)
An emergency social services and community health education organization providing disaster relief, assistance to military families and veterans, health and safety training, non-emergency transportation to medical appointments, varied youth programs and international tracing. Serving communities and individuals of Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Ft Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Houston, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties.
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. It does this through services that are consistant with its congressional charter and the principles of the International Red Cross Movement.
