Volunteers will tutor adult ESL students, tutoring them to improve their English-speaking skills, and/or support students with English conversation practice. This is a virtual opportunity. Requested commitment is 2 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks.

IMANI HOUSE, Inc. (IHI) is a 501( c )(3) non profit organization with a mission to assist low- income youth, immigrants and families in Brooklyn to improve their quality of life. Our programs promote personal advancement, improved English, literacy, computer skills, inter-group understanding, health, and civic involvement. IMANI means faith. IMANI HOUSE is a grassroots multicultural organization that combines skill-training, food and nutrition, information and referral services, and neighborhood improvement in order to help community members realize their fullest potential.
