IMANI HOUSE, INC.

The participants at Imani House are dedicated to their own success, passionate about learning and are hardworking. In spite of all the things that come up in adult life (work, children, caring for family), the people who come here are responsible, respectful and committed. The program coordinator, Jackie, cares deeply about both the students and the tutors and works tirelessly to ensure that both are satisfied with their experience and, in the event of an issue, addresses it immediately. I've been tutoring here for over a year now and absolutely love it. It's a wonderful program full of amazing people who truly deserve our time and support.

Imani House was well-organized. I was assigned a student immediately and given helpful resources including text books to use.

Unfortunately, I was not able to volunteer at this organization because it didn't match up with my work schedule.

They are a super group. Volunteering in the adult literacy program to teach reading, GED, math or English is very gratifying. IMANI HOUSE has professional trainers, loads of material to work with, and it is a gratifying experience to see our students reach their goals.
