Attention Bibliophiles! FRIENDS of the San Francisco Public Library Donation Center needs volunteers to help sort and pack our book donations. We have openings Monday -- Friday between 10 am and 4 pm. A three hour commitment within those times is preferred. This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity. We are located at 438 Treat Avenue in the Mission district between 17th and 18th Streets, Harrison and Folsom. Interested in lending a hand? Description
Friends of the San Francisco Public Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises, and provides critical support for the San Francisco Public Library and related literary and educational programs. We provide the community with opportunities to invest in the success of the Library as well as literary and education communities by donating funds or by donating time through volunteering. We raise money and we raise our voices to ensure a first-class public library for San Francisco.
