Bo at Lafayette

Experience Corps San Francisco is looking for caring baby boomers and older adults interested in making a difference in the lives of young students in struggling Oakland public schools.

Volunteers are matched one-on-one or work with small groups of children, with a focus on literacy in grades K-3. These kids get the individualized attention they deserve and need to excel, and you get to stay active and contribute your time in a meaningful and impactful way - a great win-win!

We have on-site staff at each school to support you along the way, as well as bring our teams together for peer-to-peer support and connection.

Experience Corps now has opportunities throughout San Francisco! Serve as little as 4 hours/week.
