WVCS is looking for volunteers that are able to comfortably translate for our Mandarin speaking clients. These volunteers would act as a liaison during case management sessions and would help our case managers and program managers reach out to a population that can be largely marginalized by their inability to navigate a very complicated, English speaking, social service system. These volunteers may also be asked to translate English documents into Chinese and vice versa.
