The representative was very nice to work with and clear about what was needed for this project. After the project was complete, I received a Thank You message from the representative.

I volunteered here during 2014 tax season as a VITA tax coordinator. They do taxes for lower income groups for free. It is such a lovely experience to help people and they are always so courteous to you. Loved to volunteer here. Worked with nice staff who were always willing to help me and they always went as per my schedule. Was definitely a nice learning. Will volunteer again if given an opportunity.

I volunteered for the annual Back to School Shopping Spree at JCPenney on 8/8/2010. I was paired with an 8 yr old girl named Annie. I had a great time helping her to pick our her outfit for school. She seems to know what she wants and don't want. I love the feeling that I was able to help her and just the smile on her face melts my heart, what a great feeling. I also loved the WVCS staffs, they are all very nice and friendly. I cannot wait to do another Shopping Spree event or other volunteer at this community.

The food pantry at the WVSC in Cupertino is a pleasant place to stock groceries and fresh vegetables for very appreciative clients. I enjoy the home-like atmosphere that has been created for people most in need of food.

I have been volunteering at the stimulus box distribution and the food pantries in los gatos and cupertino. I also got the opportunity to call the clients once. Overall I would say the experience is extremely satisfying. I hope to continue volunteering here. There is lot of work and there are people to guide in case you have questions and there is definitely stuff to do all the time

I am a volunteer at the WVCS's food pantry, which provides groceries to low income residents. I have to say that I always leave my shift feeling that I started my day off in a great way because I know that many families get to go home with grocery bags full of food. There is always stuff to do, so you don't feel like you are just standing around and wasting your time, which is something I don't like when it comes to volunteering at certain places!

West Valley Community Services is a marvelous organization which serves the Hungry and Homeless population of our community with amazing dignity and efficiency. I volunteer at the Front Desk, greeting and registering Clients who visit the Food Pantry, and I find it gratifying and inspiring to play a modest part in WVCS's mission.

I volunteered for the annual Back to School Shopping Spree at JCPenney and the event was a huge success. Each volunteer was paired with a school-aged kid from a low income family and was able to get $100 worth of free clothes for the school year. Needless to say, the kids were happy and the volunteers we're so glad to oblige. What a great event with such a great organization. I will definitely volunteer with WVCS again!
