Mission Statement

We are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned, abused, and neglected street dogs in Puerto Rico. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we work with local communities in Puerto Rico to liberate dogs who desperately need saving.

Description

Paws4Survival Rescue is an organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of Puerto Rican street dogs, also known as "satos." We strive to be a community organization and support local rescuers in Puerto Rico whenever possible. We provide veterinary care, shelter, and socialization in our partner doggie daycare facility and many fabulous foster homes across New England & New York. Paws 4 Survival recently started rescuing cats as well from both Puerto Rico, and from local rescuers in NY and NJ. Once the cats are fully vetted, they go on transport up to Petsmart's adoption center in Massachusetts.
