Mission Statement

The NGO ASIKUQ ANTINAKUNA works for vulnerable populations in rural and urban areas, with the aim of contributing to social cohesion and inclusion and gender equality, to combat situations of marginalization and poverty. Achieving that Andean communities can fully exercise their rights and enjoy a dignified life and space.

Description

The Asikuq Antinakuna NGO which name means "Andean Smiles" in our Quechua language; where Asikuq means "Smiles" and Antinakuna means "Andean", both comprise the phrase "Asikuq Antinakuna", and is a legally constituted organization under the peruvian laws, conformed by professional social leaders, public service, nonprofit; which main target is being a support tool for people from sectors socially vulnerable and of scarce economic resources in the challenge to contribute to improve the conditions and quality life. Asikuq Antinakuna NGO It is located within a developing process whose dimension is deeply human. His work in different rural and urban communities supports their proposals and working methods in different areas of action.
