Mission Statement

The Colorado Shakespeare Festival Guild is an independent, not-for-profit, community organization established for charitable, educational, and literary purposes including the encouragement and support of public awareness and appreciation for Shakespeare's works. Its goals include, but are not limited to, promoting a life-long learning about Shakespeare, his cultiure, and his theatrical works through support of the CSF, as well as public education and community outreach programs in the schools and in the community at large.

Description

The Colorado Shakespeare Festival Guild is a not-for-profit membership organization providing opportunities for volunteers to make contributions of time, energy, and talents to support the CSF (Colorado Shakespeare Festival). In addition, the Guild endeavors to raise funds to support the Festival. Guild volunteers get to know the CSF behind the scenes by ushering, working in costumes, crafts, lighting, and production shops, promoting the Festival in the community, and helping actors move in. These are just a few of the exciting volunteer activities available. As a Guild volunteer, you also have the opportunity to learn marketable skills, explore new areas of interest, meet stimulating people, serve Colorado's cultural community, and attend volunteer social and educational events.
