The mission of the Maumee Senior Center is to create an atmosphere which affirms the dignity and self-worth of the older population by serving their physical, emotional, and economic well-being while encouraging their independence and continued participation in the community.

Description

The Maumee Senior Center is a recreational facility where educational, social, health and wellness, and nutritional needs for adults age 60 and older are met through various classes-(Art/Keyboard/Computer/Jazzercise/Body Recall/Healthy Steps/Digital Camera/High-tech Gadgets) and programs - (Card Clubs/Chess/Backgammon Club/60+ Health Nurse/Garden Club/Daily Lunch).
