Mission Statement

The Local Development Corporation of Laurelton, Rosedale, and Springfield Gardens is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the communities of Laurelton, Rosedale and Springfield Gardens. The LDC/LRS will do this by providing information and implementation of events and projects. This will promote economic growth and vitality for the preservation and development of Merrick Boulevard, 243rd Street, Francis Lewis Boulevard, and its neighboring communities.

Description

As declared in the mission statement, our primary goal is to improve the quality of life in the Southeast Queens communities of Laurelton, Rosedale, Springfield Gardens. We implement beautification projects, youth programs, as well as serve as serve a liaisons between local politicians, banks, and local businesses in order to stimulate the growth and preservation of our economic sectors.
