Mission Statement

Working Mission Statement for Twin Lakes Hospice (TLH) Inc. The mission of Twin Lakes Hospice (TLH) , a voluntary, community based freestanding not for profit agency incorporated under the laws of the state of Missouri, is to provide palliative and supportive services to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Services will be provided through a holistic approach in regards to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs both patient and families. This shall be done in cooperation the patient's physician and other health care vendors in this and surrounding communities.

Hospice Philosophy

Hospice affirms life. It exists to provide support and care for persons in the last phase of incurable disease.

Hospice recognizes dying as a normal process.

Hospice neither hastens nor postpones death.

lHospice helps patients and families to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for a death that is satisfactory for all.
