Volunteer Opportunity

Are you good with money? Are you proficient using Excel? Would you like to put these skills to good use to benefit a non-profit and help to advance the Workplace Learning & Performance profession in the Sacramento Area? This position provides an ideal opportunity to gain real hands-on financial management experience and financial business acumen. If you can balance a checkbook, we need your help supporting the chapter!

ASTD Sacramento is seeking a volunteer Finance Associate to assist our Director of Finance with handling our association's financial records. This position assists with documenting, reporting and maintaining the Chapter financial records. You will learn to download, sort and organize financial data related to association events and revenue generating activities and present that data to the Board in a meaningful way.This opportunity is a great way for you to "test the waters" in non-profit leadership. You decide when you want to work (so long as deadlines are met) and the hours required are flexible.
