Mission Statement

The Educational Theatre Company (ETC) is a group of professional theater artists who seek to change the world by helping to unlock the creative and collaborative potential of children by sharing with them our passion for theater arts through school and community based programs in the National Capital Area.

ETC promotes the arts and arts education by bringing teaching artists into local communities in order to share their passion, knowledge and discipline in the Performing Arts.

Description

ETC has a plethora of programs from Shakespeare in the Schools at local middle and high schools to Enrichment Classes at Elementary Schools to Pre-school Classes in Drama. From a big musical production to a child's birthday party ETC is an active member of the performing arts throughout many children's lives in the metro DC area.
