Description

The Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery and School of Art is the cultural anchor for visual arts in Palm Beach and Martin counties, providing new ways to explore, learn, interact and create rewarding experiences for individuals and their families in the world of art.

As northern Palm Beach and southern Martin counties' oldest and largest visual arts organization, the Lighthouse ArtCenter is a two-building operation featuring a museum and a school of art. The museum has a fine art collection, diverse and educational exhibits, docent tours, lectures, concerts and special events. The Lighthouse ArtCenter was founded in 1964 by a group of eight artists and Christopher Norton, son of the founders of the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida.
