Mission Statement

ASIAC (formerly AIDS Services in Asian Communities) is a non-profit 501(c) 3 community based organization dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate HIV care and other related health services to Asians & Pacific Islanders (APIs) and their partners, family members, friends, and service providers in the Philadelphia area.

Description

ASIAC believes in being a resource for, reaching out to, advocating for, empowering, and assisting (1) APIs at-risk for HIV infection, (2) those living with HIV/AIDS, and (3) their partners, family members, friends, and service providers to meet their needs and improve access to services. Delivered by a trained professional staff, our services are confidential and provided free of charge regardless of residency or immigration status. Current programs include:

· HIV Testing and Counseling

· Prevention Case Management

· Medical Case Management

· Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services

· Linguistic Services

· Capacity Building & Technical Assistance
