Mission Statement

Teaching Artists Guild is committed to the professionalization and visibility of artists who teach. Through our programs and services we provide a sense of community, training opportunities, and access to a network of resources.

Description

Teaching Artists Guild, a fiscally sponsored project of Community Initiatives, is a national organization serving the needs and interests of those at the juncture of the arts and education. We create tools and resources to stregthen the field of teaching artistry, and we build community and support for teaching artists. We offer membership to individual teaching artists as well as Arts & Culture organizations who hire them. We produce a Quarterly digital magazine,The TAG Quarterly.
