Mission Statement

HandsOn Manatee mobilizes people and resources to identify and address critical social needs in Manatee and DeSoto counties in Florida.

HandsOn Manatee is home to ManaTEENs, one of the nation's largest youth volunteer initiatives, and the 20/20 VISTA Vision Project, building the capacity of several local non profits along Florida's gulf coast.

Description

HandsOn Manatee serves hundreds of non profit organizations by providing training for staff and volunteers, recruiting volunteers, and recognizing individuals for their efforts.

HandsOn Manatee hosts several internal volunteer programs to address disaster preparedness, environmental, animal welfare, health & human safety issues in the community.
