Mission Statement

Our mission is to proclaim, demonstrate and teach the transforming power of the Truth. We accomplish our mission through three objectives: to transform and empower ministries, businesses, organizations and communities; to train young soldiers to impact the world in which they live; to restore order to our families, congregations and communities.

Description

Through The Ecclesia Network of Ministries and The Nehemiah Network , The Truth In The Spirit works with ministries, businesses and organizations to discover their God-ordained identity and purpose in the community. As God reveals His will for transformation and empowerment of the community, we call together ministries, businesses and organizations to make the vision of a strong, healthy community a reality.

Through our Knights in Divine Service (KIDS) Program, The Truth In The Spirit trains youth to impact the world in which they live by discovering who they are in the Messiah, applying the Truth of the Word of God to their lives, and developing their gifts and abilities for service to their community. We serve them through The Truth Center Day Care; ages 3 to 5 years old. Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten. The Truth Center After School Program; ages 6 to 17 years old. Tutoring, mentoring, bible study and training their creative expression. We also work with parents, teachers and spiritual leaders to help them serve youth better.

Through our elderly care branch of service, The Truth In The Spirit strive to care for and resource the elderly and adult impaired in our community. We all can benefit from the wisdom and experience of the elders if we care enough to interact with them and humble ourselves enough to listen to them. We serve them through The Truth Center Adult Day Community and outreach activities, we will give the elderly and adult impaired in our community a voice and willing listeners.

It has always been a passion for me to work with the Elderly and the Youth. The Truth In The Spirit allows me to share my career experience and God given talent at The Truth Center. It is truly an asset to the Community of Newport News, Virginia and the entire Tidewater area.
