Turtlesinger, Inc. serves the public in 3 ways: education, literacy, and therapy. Turtlesinger, Inc. accomplishes its mission to entertain and educate by hiring professional, Cape May County musicians Karen & Charles Buckley, who perform original music with live turtles. Turtlesinger, Inc. has to date completed 523 events serving 77,246 clients in 3 states (New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania) by way of every imaginable venue, including all ages and facets of the community (see attached "Turtlesinger Past Events"). Turtlesinger, Inc. programs serve preschools, daycares, schoolchildren K-12, college students, and families, all the way up to senior citizens. This completely unique musical concept born in Cape May County is the culmination of a lifetime of work spent both in the musical field by Karen Buckley as well as in her former work as a professional reptile zookeeper at the Cape May County Zoo who received her training at the Bronx Zoo Reptile House. Turtlesinger Karen Buckley is a professional singer, private teacher and former Stockton college professor with a Bachelor of Music (summa cum laude) from The Crane School of Music, where she graduated as Departmental Scholar, and a Master of Music (magna cum laude) with an emphasis in opera from Temple University's School of Music. Turtletoter and Turtlesinger Charles Buckley studied voice at the Boston University School of Fine Arts and toured the Mid-Atlantic States as a professional actor and singer.
