Mission Statement

The Latin American Health Alliance (LAHA) was established in 2006 to identify and address the significant health disparities that exist for Latinos / Latinas living in the greater Worcester area. LAHA's vision is to assist members of the Latino community in achieving improved health outcomes and enhancing the quality of life.

Description

The Hector E. Reyes House is the first program of LAHA. Its mission is to provide comprehensive, medically based and culturally competent drug and alcohol services within a residential setting to the recovering Latino population. This program will have in-house medical treatment, along with intensive evidence-based counseling
