Mission Statement

The Dawg Squad is a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation established according to California laws for public benefit. It is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals focusing on the homeless, abandoned and abused dogs of the City of Los Angeles, California. All animals in our care are provided with medical attention, rehabilitation and foster homes until permanent, adoptive homes can be found. All animals are spayed, neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. The Dawg Squad is dedicated to: * The prevention of cruelty to animals.

* Rehabilitating and training dogs to prepare them for their forever home The Dawg Squad is an all-volunteer organization. It has no paid employees or salaried officers. We do not have an expensive shelter facility; we foster every animal in volunteers' homes or approved kennels before finding homes.

The Dawg Squad is a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation established according to California laws for public benefit. It is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals focusing on the homeless, abandoned and abused dogs of the City of Los Angeles, California. All animals in our care are provided with medical attention, rehabilitation and foster homes until permanent, adoptive homes can be found. All animals are spayed, neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.

The Dawg Squad is an all-volunteer organization. It has no paid employees or salaried officers. We do not have an expensive shelter facility; we foster every animal in volunteers' homes or approved kennels before finding homes. All adopters must fill out an application, background checks are required as our housechecks before a dog is placed in a home.

We show our dogs every Saturday at Centinela Feed and Pet, 7600 S. Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, 90045.

You must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer
