Description

Solid Waste Services (SWS ) is made up of two utilities - Refuse Collections and Solid Waste Disposal. Refuse Collections provides residential and commercial trash collection for the City of Anchorage Service area. Solid Waste Disposal operates the Municipality's landfill and two transfer stations. SWS also provides recycling services to its collections customers and provides recycling outreach and information to the entire community.
