Back in 1987, AAIME's founders were entrepreneurs just like you. They went searching then for free or low cost help that people could use to start their own business on a firm foundation.
AAIME's founders discovered that by law, non-profit organizations cannot provide management consulting! It's as if the exact information you need to build a better business is purposefully unavailable for free or at low cost.
And it's still like that today!
That is why, if you want to start a successful business, there are only five ways to do it: know, or be related to someone with a successful business who can show you the ropes, go to business school with a cost, upwards of $10,000, have the money to hire an expensive management consultant, access free help from SCORE the Small Business Administration's Service Corps of Retired Executives, or trial and error, by attending the school of Hard Knocks.
Now you know why there are so few successful independent businesses!!!
No way can an independent business owner obtain free, practical management advice, so that you don't waste a lot of time recreating the wheel! AAIME Business Association is a non-profit, 501 c 3, tax-exempt organization. It's that status we use to provide you with discounts on services you need for your business.
For these reasons, members sometimes call our combination For-Profit/Not-For-Profit, AAIME Business Association membership, "New Link!"
