Mission Statement

Horsefeathers is an equine program dedicated to using horses and ponies to improve the lives of children and adults with disabilities. We use the unique motion of the horse to help our riders achieve successes in the ring that they bring to their daily lives and which builds their self-esteem and sense of independence.

Description

Our organization relies on volunteers to enable our occupational therapists, speech therapists, and riding instructors to work with our riders. We are a 501-c-3. Horsefeathers is an equine program dedicated to using horses and ponies to improve the lives of children and adults with disabilities. We use the unique motion of the horse to help our riders achieve successes in the ring that they bring to their daily lives and which builds their self-esteem and sense of independence.
