Mission Statement
Nearly eight years ago, faced with a national economic downturn made worse by the deadliest terrorist attacks in American history, many questioned whether New York City's resurgence would be halted and its progress would be lost. Guided by the strong leadership of Mike Bloomberg, we put those doubts to rest and our city emerged stronger than ever before. Mike tackled the tough problems by never settling for the status quo, bringing a nonpartisan approach to problems, and acting without regard to politics or the opinions of the special interests.
Today, we face even greater challenges, as a global recession threatens to reverse the painstaking gains New York has made since the dark days of the 1970s. To meet these challenges, New York needs an honest and independent leader who will make the tough, necessary decisions that will create jobs, keep our streets safe, and continue the extraordinary progress we have made in teaching our children. Mike Bloomberg is that leader.
Description
Since our jam-packed office openings in March, volunteers for Mayor Bloomberg have been hard at work in contacting voters and enlisting new volunteers for the busy months ahead. Your support in these early days of the campaign is crucial, and now as the days warm up, you can help us take Mike's message of independent nonpartisan leadership directly to voters. Let's not take anything for granted! We need you to deliver the Mayor's message, so please contact us now.
Walk-ins are always welcome during volunteer hours at any of our campaign offices. For more information on volunteer hours and opportunities call our volunteer hotline at 212.768.2009!
