We are a small non profit in Manassas Park, VA looking for volunteers to staff several board committees. We have a vibrant board of directors who are all medical professionals but we need people with expertise in development (fundraising), marketing, strategic planning, finance, Telehealth policy and IT to help us reach our desired goals.
We are also in need of clerical support. This position is ideal for a self-starter with great organizational and interpersonal skills.
For Veterans who have a health problem like diabetes, chronic heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), depression or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), getting treatment can be complex and inconvenient.
For some, especially older Veterans, conditions like these can make it difficult for them to remain living independently in their own home and make it necessary for them to go into a nursing home where their symptoms and vital signs (pulse, weight, temperature etc.) can be checked frequently.
Our needs are immediate, varied and ever changing so we promise you a stimulating work environment. We are flexible and can work around your schedule for days, evenings and weekends. Some work might actually be completed at home! If you have some spare time, know your way around the non profit arena and are passionate about helping Veterans, we would be happy to hear from you.
