Mission Statement

To coordinate, educate and train volunteers to prepare for and respond to any natural and/or man made disaster impacting animals in the Cincinnat, Kentucky, Indiana areas when activated by the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) offices.

Description

During disaster activation set up temporary shelter, house, care, treat and reunification with owners. Strays and ferals will be fostered, adopted or sent to no-kill rescues as determined by the county animal control officer at deactivation.

During non-disaster periods hold bi-monthly volunteer trainings, public awareness and educational booths, and do animal disaster preparedness presentations. Also hold fund raisers for purchase and upkeep of CART equipment and supplies.
