Mission Statement

The Emerald Coast Science Center strives to inspire and grow a scientifically engaged community.

Description

Our new facility includes over 5,000 additional square feet of space with two classroom spaces and 4 exhibit rooms along with 2 acres of property.

In 2018, we are proud to debut a fascinating, groundbreaking new exhibit: SMALLab, courtesy of IMPACT100 of Northwest Florida. SMALLab is an embodied learning platform that will have every learner up, moving, and collaborating in an interactive environment. We are proud to be only the third museum in the country with SMALLab.

The science center is always growing, which is why volunteering is always a wonderful experience there! With the many different renovations, the volunteer opportunities are endless (yardwork, painting, cleaning, building, etc) and they try their best to make what you're doing fun!
