Mission Statement

CAO's mission is to enable an environment free from fear and distress in order for children to grow with full abilities and talents needed to advance sustainable development. CAO supports this mission with a corporate philosophy of adhering to the highest ethical and professional conducts relating to operational dealings, treatment of underprivileged children in fairness, and formulation of social and development policies. Above all to provide skills and resource support that enable children in distress to fulfill social and economic well-being.

Description

CHILD ADVOCACY ORGANISATION (CAO) CAO is a Cameroon based non-profit organization. CAO aim to promote, protect and enhance the wellbeing of children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS, needy orphans, trafficked children, street children, children abused, neglected, and children suffering from hunger and drug abuse. For now, we work in the North West Region of Cameroon. Helping a child or children who are abuse or neglected, who have no father nor mother and who come from very poor families that aunts and uncles’ circumstances do not permit them to help. No contribution is too big or too small to protect or promote the wellbeing of a child in school or in the community. This can be through payment for vocational training, taken care of health and nutritional needs and sponsoring a child in school. We come to you to build a network were we can better improve on the capacities of it members. We are very active in the field and seek partners we can work with.
