Mission Statement

The SAVE (Student Advocates for Valuing the Environment) Foundation began as a student club at Carroll College in Helena, MT. The founders saw a need for recycling in the community so they restored a 1950's farm track, christened it the Savemobile, and set off to 'SAVE' the earth. They started out providing recycling for businesses, and expanded to providing plastics recycling for Helena. After their graduation, SAVE gained non-profit status. Since that time, SAVE has successfully advocated for sustainable living habits and common-sense legislation in the Montana Legislature. SAVE promotes biodiesel, graywater, electric vehicles and low carbon fuels.

Description

Volunteers may help out at bimonthly recycling drives, distribution of flyers, policy work and more.
