Mission Statement

John Muir Charter Schools will significantly improve the academic, vocational, and life-skills of young adults (age 16 to 25) and introduce them to career choices that lead to life-long sustainable income opportunities.

Description

John Muir Charter Schools serves students up to age 25 (& beyond if enrolled by age 25) we are fully WASC Accredited and serve youth, ages 16 to 25 in over 50 locations throughout California. All teachers are highly qualified and the teacher-to-student ratio is about 1-17. All academic instruction is seat based and delivered through direct instruction by caring staff. JMCS partners directly with the California Conservation Corps., YouthBuild USA, and WIOA (Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act) programs.
