Mission Statement

At NDF, it is our expressed mission to provide opportunities for individuals to enhance their quality of life, as well as economic status. To meet these needs, our goals are to provide job training, health awareness, and first time home buyer education. In providing job training, this will include, but not be limited to: resume writing, job interviewing techniques, job skills, administrative skills, computer courses, GED preparation and more. NDF will strive to raise awareness of health issues through prenatal care, family planning and counseling, stress management, preventive medical care, and drug abuse education. For individuals interested in home ownership may obtain training on securing the necessary resources to achieve that goal. These resources include seminars on obtaining a mortgage, down payment assistance, credit, home maintenance, insurance, buying versus renting, budgeting and more.
