A BREEZE OF HOPE FOUNDATION

Description

A Breeze of Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that:

1. Restores the lives of those who've suffered childhood sexual violence by providing them free, holistic support;
2. Eradicates sexual violence through transdisciplinary prevention strategies; and
3. Promotes healthy, comprehensive childhood development.

We believe that to prevent sexual violence and other forms of violence against children, especially girls, there must be a paradigm shift in the way society sees and interacts with children. We must see children as social protagonists, as competent members of society with dignity and rights. We must interact with them in ways that respect their competence and that foster their self-agency. In essence, we must work with this generation's children to prevent the next generation's problems (e.g. sexual violence and other forms of violence, addiction, indifference to the suffering of others, ill health, etc.).
