Mission Statement

Pet Rescue, a non profit volunteer group, was formed over twenty years ago because of the increasing abundance of unwanted domestic pets. None of our animals are destroyed: once we accept an animal, they are with us until they are placed in qualified home.We take our own animals back, so pets placed as puppies and kittens are sometimes returned as seniors to spend the rest of their time with us. Every animal adopted is spayed or neutered, current on inoculation and goes home with identification and a toy. We depend on donations and fund raisers to continue our work.

Description

Pet Rescue's cattery and kennel is open for adoptions to the public on weekends and by appointment. One of our goals is the education of the public to the plight of unwanted pets and their overpopulation, due to lack of spaying and neutering. To this end we join with other humane organizations in the effort to encourage responsible pet ownership. In our twenty years of existence, Pet Rescue has been successful in placing thousands of pets into caring homes. With your continued support, we will continue as a hlf-way house for many years.
