Ocean of Hope Foundation

Description

We are currently launching an initiative called 10,000 schools 10,000 villages. We will travel for 3 months across the US with an interactive message to elementary school children of the wonder and amazement of the ocean and the role of exploration and conservation. We are taking this message to native shore communities in developing nations as well. We then match the villages with the US classrooms in a penpal program to promote ocean stewardship.

Ocean of Hope Foundation is currently supporting a village school in Fiji and will continue to support more villages in the area and expand into Indonesia this year. We will offer basic needs to villages and schools in exchange for ocean conservation efforts to lessen impact on coral reefs.
