Mission Statement

Riverdale Senior Services (RSS,Inc.) is a multipurpose non-profit agency whose mission is to promote physical, intellectual, social and emotional well being of older adults in the Northwest Bronx. RSS, Inc's program and services take place in a community facility and are designed to encourage and enable seniors to continue living independently and with dignity.

Description

RSS is composed of the following:

An Executive and Deputy Director, a Community Health Educator, two Social Workers, a Volunteer Coordinator/Program Specialist, An Activities Coordinator, a part-time Registed Nurse, a Transportation Coordinator, a Development Specialist, a Office Executive Assitant, a Chef with staff of 2, an Office Receptioinist and a Director of our Adult Day Activity Program and staff of two.

She would call me to set up time to visit with the person in charge and her herself wouldn't be there so there wasn't any one else to speak with me and that was twice she had set up appointment with me .
