Mission Statement

The Solano Coalition for Better Health leads collaborative efforts to resolve health care challenges and improve health outcomes for all members of the Solano County community.

Description

Solano Coalition for Better Health facilitate program and projects that increase the number of Solano County residents with access to health insurance, improve access to quality and affordable healthcare for residents, and to break down barriers that prevent individuals from accessing care. Our programs include the Solano Kids Insurance Program, Transitional Care Program, and Oral Health Program.

I started volunteering for SCBH in October 2011 and eventually became a contract worker. Now I am a full-time employee. Though I cannot guarantee that you will be hired, I can guarantee that you will do great things if you decide to volunteer. This organization has given me so many valuable opportunities in the past three years to grow professionally and to also give back to the communities in Solano County. The staff is very kind and aware of how important their work is to the people they serve.
