SWAT is Florida's statewide youth organization working to mobilize, educate and equip Florida youth to revolt against and de-glamorize Big Tobacco. SWAT is a united movement of empowered youth working towards a tobacco free future.

Description

Polk County Students Working Against Tobacco is a youth led, adult guided organization in ever county in the State of Florida for Youth 6th-12th grade. The program is run through the Florida Department of Health and focuses on the building of leadership and advocacy skills in youth.

Day to day activities include giving/recieving leadership and speacial knowledge training, speaking to local decision makers, and educating the community at events. There are leadership board opportunities and all activities are always free of charge.
