Mission Statement

The mission of the Board on Aging and Long Term Care is to advocate for the interests of the state's aging and disabled populations, to inform consumers of their rights and to educate the public at large about health care systems and long term care.

Description

Qualified volunteers are recruited from people like you in our communities. Volunteers are willing to: give of their time to make a difference attend mandatory 6 hour training make unannounced weekly visits to assigned facility provide their own transportation spend 2-3 hours at a time between 8:00 AM -8:00 PM give a 6 month minimum commitment undergo a criminal background check, at our agency's expense
