Description
My son, Harrison, died at the age of 16 from a sudden cardiac arrest. After research, I learned an AED might have made the difference between survival and death. I also found that every 3-4 days, an athlete falls victim to sudden cardiac arrest. Quick response with CPR and an AED makes all the difference in survival. We started our foundation 4 months after his death, July 2014. By February 2015, we were instrumental in placing 50 AEDs in local public schools, along with training almost 200 staff members in CPR/AED. We've also donated 9 AEDs to public & private schools, along with a couple of youth organizations locally. Although successful in many ways, we are no where near done in our mission.
