Mission Statement

PAWS Humane Society supports the Lumpkin County, GA

Animal Shelter. We provide financial support for medicine,

equipment and supplies not funded by the county. We maintain the Petfinder and other web sites, work with other shelters to save animals that otherwise might be euthenized

due to over crowding. The LCAS will release dogs and cats to other licensed shelters and organizations without fees and gladly adopt out of state.

In addition we operate a low cost spay and neuter program within Lumpkin County. This is available for those who cannot afford to have their animals altered.

We have a local 30 day fostering program for those who want to take home a dog or cat to see if it/they are a fit in the family environment.
