Description
Clark Youth Theatre is a performance based educational center for youth 8-18 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the surrounding communities. In the 2015-2016 season Clark offers Saturday Drama and Improvisation classes, an intensive Shakespeare Conservatory class, Homeschool Drama Classes, 5 two week summer camps and 7 free-to-participate full play or musical productions. We operate with 3 permanent part time employees, 3-4 contract employees per production, and a few contract teachers, depending on the class offerings. These employees are supported by a core volunteer force of approximately 30 parents and grandparents, and one time volunteers numbering from 120-150 depending upon the season.
In the 2015-2016 season, Clark was the first theatre to partner with THe Penguin Project, rehearsing and staging a full Jr. musical for special needs artists and their mentors.
Clark Youth Theatre is a 37 year strong organization designed to grow incredible young people by allowing them to grow in artistic expression in a team environment.
