Our mission is to provide persons being released from incarceration with the tools to successfully re-integrate into the community as contributing members of the community.

Description

STAR Project (Successful Transition and Re-Entry) is a 501(c)3 organization in Walla Walla working to reduce recidivism by assisting men and women released from prison or jail to make positive changes in their lives and get a fresh start.

Whether you choose to work directly with clients as a mentor, serve on an advocacy board or special event committee, assist with preparing newletters or grant applications, or help with moving someone in or out of an apartment, your efforts can contribute to a safer community and help transform lives in postive ways.
